Learning Together, Looking Ahead

Thank you to the many parents who joined us for our Parent Education event on Executive Function, ADHD, and Behavior. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to better understanding how to support your child’s growth, independence, and success.

Our Middle and High School students also took part in Career Fair Day, exploring a variety of professions, asking thoughtful questions, and beginning to imagine their own future pathways. Professionals from the Atlanta Zoo, Flight Works, The Fox, Atlanta Fire Rescue, Prager Group, and other organizations shared their insights and experiences.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Good people of Howard! 📜🎭

By royal proclamation, let it be known throughout the land that on the sixteenth day of April, at the hour of two in the afternoon, the noble scholars of the Eighth Grade shall present the wondrous and most entertaining spectacle known as The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis.

This merry performance shall take place within the esteemed Black Box Theatre, where tales of princes, maidens, villains, and magic shall be brought to life before your very eyes.

Come one, come all, to witness this grand telling of the legendary stories of the Brothers Grimm—filled with laughter, adventure, and delight!

Community Clothing Drive: Continuing the Work of Service

After our fall Day of Service, several Howard high school students felt inspired to keep making a difference. They now volunteer about once a month at Atlanta Mission, supporting daily operations alongside High School Lead Teacher Preston Drake and Middle School Assistant Teacher Marleigh Drake.

During their time volunteering, students learned that clothing donations drop significantly after the holidays, making late winter and early spring especially challenging for those in need of basic essentials. You can help make an impact.

We are collecting gently worn or new clothing through March 31 at the High School front desk. Items of greatest need include coats, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, long-sleeve shirts, and socks. All donations will go directly to Atlanta Mission.
