Spring Blooms & Student Voices

As spring arrives and flowers begin to bloom, our campus is filled with creativity and fresh inspiration. Our 6th and 7th grade middle school students recently had the opportunity to share their voices during a special poetry presentation. Students proudly presented their original poems, including haikus, freestyle pieces, and rhyming poems, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and unique perspectives. It was a wonderful celebration of student expression and the spirit of the season.

Beware a One-Size-Fits-All Approach to Reading Remediation

Written by Dr. Anna B. Moore, Head of School

"Do you have a student who struggles with reading and no amount of hard work seems to help?  You are not alone."

Too often, schools treat reading remediation as a single prescription. Every child receives the same program delivered at the same pace and with the same set of expectations. Inevitably, some students will improve while others languish, sapping their confidence and masking their true potential.
