Our students marked the 100th Day of School, a fun milestone that highlighted just how much learning and growth has already taken place this year. We’re also proud to share that 11 Hawks have qualified for the GIAA State Meet—an incredible accomplishment and a testament to their hard work and dedication. After Monday’s snow day, our Winter Conversations are back on track, and we’re grateful for the flexibility and engagement of our school community as we continue these important discussions. |

| | Celebrate Student Creativity at the High Museum We're thrilled to announce that artwork by selected Lower and Middle School students will be showcased at the High Museum of Art! "Howard at the High Museum" will be on display in the Education wing (Greene family gallery) from February 3rd to March 1st. Join us for a special reception on Sunday, February 22nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Meet the teachers, chat with museum representatives, and celebrate the incredible creative accomplishments of our talented young artists. Families and friends can visit the High Museum for free from February 3rd - March 1st during the student or organization exhibition. To receive free entry, students and their guests must confirm with Guest Relations that they are part of the current Student Exhibition. Free admission does not apply during special after-hour events like Friday Jazz or High Frequency Friday, as the Education Center is closed to the public. We hope to see you there! |

Our Lost & Found is overflowing—especially with warm cozy sweatshirts and jackets (lots of size smalls and mediums), sneakers, water bottles, hats, shirts and so much more. With temperatures so chilly, now’s a great time to swing by and see what belongs to your child. Please check Lost & Found in the gym lobby by Friday, February 13—any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity. |

| | Signs Your Child Might Be Experiencing Cyberbullying Children don’t always speak up — so watch for patterns like: 1 - Behavioral Changes 2 - Sudden withdrawal from social interactions or activities they used to enjoy 3 - Mood swings (sadness, anger, anxiety, fear) after using their device 4 - Unwillingness to talk about their online activities 5 - Avoiding school or social situations they once liked If any of these show up together, it’s a cue for a supportive conversation. |
