7 Tips to Help Kids w/Learning Differences Develop Skills Needed to Thrive in Middle School

Middle school can be a vulnerable time as students begin developing into young adults. This Limitless Learning Blog, written by Middle School Principal Adeleke Odeju, offers guidance on the benefits of being honest with your child, the importance of celebrating their wins, and how The Howard School is here to support both you and your student.

 
 

Friday, September 26: Field Day

Here are a few reminders to help your child get ready:

  • Time: 10:00am–3:00pm

  • What to bring: Water, a snack, sunscreen, and make sure your child is dressed for active play.

  • Lunch: Hot dogs, chips, and apples will be provided by Sage Dining along with the regular sandwich/salad bar. You’re welcome to pack a lunch, but please label the outside of the bag with your child’s name and team color.

  • Special treat: Luigi’s Real Italian Ice will be served at the end of the day!

  • Dress code: Team color t-shirt, athletic shorts, and sneakers.
