Opt-Out of R.O.A.R.
The Howard School is proud to continue our partnership with Stanford University on the Rapid Online Assessment of Reading (R.O.A.R.) for the fourth year for our K-12. Through engaging, game-based tasks, students participate in a brief assessment that provides valuable insights into their reading and language skills. This helps our teachers better understand each student’s learning profiles.
While Stanford only receives anonymous data for their research, we recognize, however, that some families may prefer not to have their child participate in this kind of assessment or data collection. If you would like to opt-out of the R.O.A.R. study or would like more information about Stanford's research, please click the button on the left and email Matthew Westmoreland (mwestmoerland@howardschool.org). If you'd like to read more about R.O.A.R. click the button on the right for more information.
