This week, our 8th graders shadowed their high school peers. Our seniors kicked off Thursday with a delicious Waffle House breakfast, and our basketball teams are fully in the swing of their seasons. How much better can it get?!

Only one more week before Thanksgiving break, Hawks! Break runs from 
Monday, November 24, through Friday, November 28.

The Financial Aid Application Deadline is Approaching!

Financial Aid applications for the 2026/2027 school year opened on Sept. 15, 2025, and the Dec. 15, 2025 deadline is quickly approaching!

FAQ
What information do I need to provide? You will need to upload your 2024 Federal Tax Returns, supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s. 

What other steps must I complete to apply for 2026/2027 Financial Aid? Both new and returning financial aid applicants must complete the 2026/2027 Financial Aid Request Form  AND the FACTS Grant and Aid Application.

 

Traffic Alert:

The Howard School has been notified of road construction on Huff Road between 9:00am and 4:00pm from Monday, November 17, through Thursday, November 20. The most significant impact will be a road closure on Huff Road between Fairmont and Menlo. If you typically access Huff Road from Howell Mill, this construction should not affect entry to either the front or back entrance of The Howard School.

Please plan your route accordingly to accommodate additional traffic on Howell Mill.
