We are grateful for your continued partnership and look forward to another great year together.

Eighth Grade Sculpture Showcase

Please join us in the library on February 12 from 8:30–9:00 a.m. for a special viewing of sculpture creations by Mrs. Elliott’s eighth grade class. Students have spent many weeks designing and building their original pieces from scratch. Stop by to admire their work and chat with the artists about their creative process!

Can’t make it to the reception? The artwork will remain on display for two weeks. We hope you’ll come celebrate our students’ creativity!

Middle School Parent Get-Together

Middle School and 8th grade parents are invited to join fellow Howard families on Friday, February 20, at 1:30 p.m. for a casual, parent-hosted gathering before carpool at Agavero Cantina – West Midtown (1133 Huff Rd NW).

A big thank-you to our Middle School parent volunteers for coordinating: Adrienne Clark, Michal Liske, Adrianne Meyers, and Trunshedda Ramos. When you arrive, feel free to look for them—they’ll help everyone get connected.

Enjoy the chance to meet other families and build community--we hope you'll join us!

Note Updated Reception Time: Join Us at the High Museum from 2:30–4:30 PM. Show Your Hawk Pride at the High Museum Art Exhibition!

The Howard School is taking over the High Museum of Art! Well, our Lower and Middle School artists are, anyway! Their exceptional artwork is featured in "Howard at the High Museum" from February 3rd to March 1st in the Education wing (Greene family gallery).

Join us for a special reception Sunday, February 22nd, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM to celebrate these talented Hawks! It's a wonderful opportunity to meet the teachers, mingle with fellow parents, and celebrate the artistic achievements of our students.

Free Admission Details: Enjoy FREE admission to the High Museum during regular exhibition hours (February 3rd-March 1st) by mentioning "Howard at the High Museum" at Guest Relations. (Free admission is not valid during special after-hour events.)

Let's fill the gallery with Hawk pride! See you there.

Explore Life After Howard: College & Post-Secondary Fair (Grades 8–12)

Join us for the Atlanta-Area College and Post-Secondary Fair for Neurodiverse Students, hosted at The Cottage School on March 1, 2:00–4:00 p.m.

This is a great chance for students and families to explore post-secondary options designed to support how neurodiverse learners learn—and to start getting clear on what “next” can look like.

What families can expect:

  • Meet representatives from colleges and programs that understand and support neurodiverse students

  • Learn about the application process, financial aid, and available accommodations

  • Explore resources and support services to help students plan for life after high school

Be sure to stop by The Howard School sponsor table and say hello to College and Next Steps Counselor Erin Layton
